Game On! Having trekked around 300 miles along the Camino Francés from St. Jean-Pied-de-Port in France to León in Spain back in May 2019, we're delighted to confirm that we have now got concrete (as concrete as anything ever is these days) plans to get back over to Spain and finish the job! Flights to Madrid are booked, as is the train up to León. What that really means is that we're going to restart back in León, and complete the 194 miles over to Santiago de Compostela. Furthermore, we'll then do another 50 miles out to meet the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Finisterre. Then, all being well, we'll head to Porto to get down to Sandeman's by the Douro and get lashed on the local juice! (which, oddly enough, i did on my last trip abroad back in Feb 2020) To say that I'm excited, is more than an understatement! I've been absolutely climbing the walls whilst not being allowed to go abroad. For obvious reasons I/We have been wary of booking something only for Covid to ...
